After serving his country for 23 years as a U.S. Naval Officer and retiring in 2000 with the rank of Commander, Richard Hagins followed his entrepreneurial spirit and grandfather's passion for service when founding Universal Supplies & Services, Inc., now US&S, Inc., in 2003. Since settling in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1996, Hagins has become an integral part of his adopted home through the work of his company and commitment to service. He has previously held numerous community affiliated positions ranging from Treasurer of the South Carolina State Port Authorities (SCSPA) to the Programs Committee Chair for the Greenville Metro YMCA Board. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Chairman of the Board for the Blood Connection. Most recently, Hagins has been named the 2020 Board Chair for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. Hagins was named the "SC Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2014 by the SBA, one of the 50 Most Influential People of 2018 and 2019" by Greenville Business Magazine, and most recently, he was named "Entrepreneur of the Year 2019® Southeast" by Ernst & Young.
Hagins received a BS from Savannah State College in Electronic Engineering Technology and his MA from Webster University in Business Management. He recently completed the Executive Education Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Euleta F. H. AlstonOwner/President
Euleta Alston is responsible the day to day administration and management of all business functions. She has over a decade of service and experience at US&S, beginning her career as assistant program manager for the company's aerospace and procurement business unit. Alston has held positions including business development manager, staff augmentation program manager, and director of business development. She was instrumental at establishing the company's vision, mission, core values and overall branding strategy, spearheading the proposal development process, and establishing a new business line. Prior to joining US&S, Mrs. Alston spent nearly 5 years in sales, marketing and account management with a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company where she achieved numerous successes.
Alston has been active in her local community with a long history of service and engagement. Currently, she serves on the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board and Financial Committee, Board of Directors of Community Works and active member of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. and the Rotary Club of Greenville. She was also named Best & Brightest Under 35, Top 10 Young Professional of the Year by the Talented 10th Greenville, and South Carolina's Top 20 Under 40 by Thomas Media Group. Alston holds a B.S. with Honors in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and holds a Masters from Clemson University.

Dawn Cook, MBA, PHRCorporate Controller
With over 27 years of accounting and over 16 years in human resources, Dawn Cook is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk. Joining the US&S team in 2019, she provides ongoing assessments and consultation to management, regarding fiscal matters, benefit program execution, regulatory compliance and risk management. Cook is a Master of Business Administration graduate of Clemson University. Her career serving private business and commitment to community engagement has given her robust experience.
Director of Human Resources, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, RCC
With more than 20 years of leadership and human resources experience, Stacey Bechtold is responsible for all corporate human resources functions, including, but not limited to, employment law and regulatory compliance, organizational planning and policy development and implementation, training and employee relations, recruitment and retention efforts, benefits administration, employee relations, compensation, management development and leadership coaching. Prior to joining our team, Stacey served as the HR Manager for Greenville County Parks, Recreation, & Tourism for twelve years. She has also previously provided HR-related consulting and training services to a variety of clients through The Bechtold Group, Inc., as well as taught Human Resource Management at Greenville Technical College as an adjunct instructor. Stacey holds two national senior-level HR certifications (SPHR and SHRM-SCP) as well as a Master of Human Resource Development from Clemson University. She became a Riley Fellow in 2018 with successful completion of Furman University's distinguished Diversity Leaders Initiative and has also recently earned her Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) designation with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.
Darien AlstonAssistant Director of Operations, Operations & Maintenance
Darien supports the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of the company's Operations & Maintenance business unit. He oversees the company's DOE/DOE prime contractor contract/project portfolio bringing extensive knowledge and experience to US&S from his distinguished background within the field of facilities management and operations. He most recently served as a Division leader, Superintendent, with Richland County Recreation Commission and, prior to that, was Division Development Manager for Greenville County Parks, Recreation, Tourism. In these professional capacities, Darien was responsible for building operations and maintenance, janitorial services, grounds & fleet maintenance, staff supervision & management, as well as the management of multiple budgets. He has significant experience planning and directing numerous, concurrent multi-faceted capital projects including facility construction management both new construction and large-scale renovations. He is a proud graduate of Coastal Carolina University and of notable programs such as Leadership Greenville, Leadership GCRD, Opportunity Greenville and SCRPA's LEAD initiative.
Michael FletcherDirector of Operations, Janitorial Services
Michael ("Mike") Fletcher leads the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of the company's janitorial service business unit. Mike brings well over 30 years of janitorial operations and sales management experience to the company. He is especially skilled in building client relationships, process implementation with an emphasis on building efficiencies, P&L responsibility and business growth strategies and operations management and employee training. Prior to joining US&S, Mike worked as a Senior Leader in a variety of mid-to-large facility maintenance companies and served as the Managing Partner/Owner of a collection of diverse businesses. He has been a part of the Greenville community for over 18 years and is truly an asset to the team.
Robert BaldreeDirector of Business Development
Robert "Troy" Baldree is responsible for the company's new business and growth strategy development and execution. Troy has held various sales, sales management and executive positions for several companies building successful sales teams across the country. He brings well over 30 years of successful sales and sales leadership expertise with a proven track record of developing and managing both direct and indirect sales channels for both product and service offerings. He is especially skilled in building client relationships and robust sales teams, contract negotiations and opportunity research and development.
