US&S is a Minority- and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned company.
We have more than two decades of experience providing janitorial and operations & maintenance services to clients throughout the Southeast. The passion for our work comes from our dedication to helping people. We live by our Vision, Mission, and Core Values every day.
Our Core Values
Our Mission
Our mission serves as a constant reminder of our guiding principles and why we do what we do. It also makes one thing clear: We are here to serve you the best way we can.
This is our mission:
- Lead through employing professional, talented and passionate people.
- Thrive on innovation and use technology to improve efficiencies and cost.
- Continuously ensure the delivery and integration of our quality and safety programs for ourselves and for those we support.
- Treat others the way we want to be treated: with utmost respect. Make a positive difference in the world.
Community Involvement
There’s a simple equation: The more successful we are, the more we can give back to the community. Serving people and communities in need is an important part of our company.
Enthusiastically Giving
Since US&S was established by a U.S. Retired Navy Commander, it’s no surprise our company was founded on the principles of service to all mankind. We value sharing our company's success with those less fortunate through volunteerism, charitable donations, and participating in large numbers of community events and companies. Every year we increase our level of support to community-affiliated organizations.
Always Advocating
Small businesses like ours are the drivers of our nation's economy. By supporting them, we truly believe we can make a stronger economic impact in the communities where we work and live. US&S provides opportunities to minorities, women, and small veteran business enterprises by advertising or directly soliciting companies for potential subcontracting opportunities. Members of the company's leadership team are also involved and engaged with events and organizations that exist to foster diversity and inclusion efforts in the community.
Continuously Mentoring
All US&S employees receive training and educational opportunities to prepare them for success. We also proudly mentor "up and coming" small, minority-owned businesses too and assist them with business development and renting office space at a subsidized rate. We want to establish a formalized Mentor-Protege Relationship through the Small Business Administration with an 8(a) firm once we graduate from the program ourselves. What better way to reach back and lift up companies following in our footsteps than through sharing our hard-won knowledge?
Our History
The Journey Continues...
Euleta’s great-grandfather, a pastor in Savannah, GA., owned a business that provided commodities and materials to churches. After his passing, his grandson, Rich, inherited the business.
In 1996, Rich relocated to Greenville, SC, embarking on his last years of U.S. Naval service. The move also reestablished the business in a storefront, which in turn led to odd jobs and projects in the religious communities he began serving locally. Eventually, the volume and success of this project-based work enabled him to start a new business in 2003 – this is when US&S was born.
US&S focused primarily on serving federal agencies from inception for nearly a decade – a natural evolution from Hagins' twenty-three years of serving in the U.S. Navy. The company then made the decision to rebrand, focus on wide-ranging long-term contracts and continued to expand the industries it served. We are a small company of competitive, enthusiastic people who wear many hats, and our care and support for one another -- and especially for you, our partners in business -- is entirely our mission.
