S. Richard Hagins

After serving his country for 23 years as a U.S. Naval Officer and retiring in 2000 with the rank of Commander, Richard Hagins followed his entrepreneurial spirit and grandfather's passion for service when founding Universal Supplies & Services, Inc., now US&S, Inc., in 2003. Since settling in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1996, Hagins has become an integral part of his adopted home through the work of his company and commitment to service. He has previously held numerous community affiliated positions ranging from Treasurer of the South Carolina State Port Authorities (SCSPA) to the Programs Committee Chair for the Greenville Metro YMCA Board. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Chairman of the Board for the Blood Connection. Most recently, Hagins has been named the 2020 Board Chair for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
Hagins was named the "SC Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2014 by the SBA, one of the 50 Most Influential People of 2018 and 2019" by Greenville Business Magazine, and most recently, he was named "Entrepreneur of the Year 2019® Southeast" by Ernst & Young. Hagins received a BS from Savannah State College in Electronic Engineering Technology and his MA from Webster University in Business Management. He recently completed the Executive Education Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Euleta F. H. Alston
President/Owner
Euleta Alston has served as President of the company since 2018, responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of all business functions. She has 15+ years with company and 20+ years of business experience. She began her career as assistant program manager for the company's aerospace and procurement business unit. Alston has held positions including business development manager, staff augmentation program manager, and director of business development. She was instrumental at establishing the company's vision, mission, core values and overall branding strategy, spearheading the proposal development process, and establishing a new business line in the Department of Energy and prime contractor space.
Prior to joining US&S, Mrs. Alston spent nearly 5 years in sales, marketing and account management with a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company where she achieved numerous successes. Mrs. Alston is active in the local community with a long history of service and engagement. Most recently, she serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for Community Works and the Greenville Chamber’s Board of Directors. She is also a proud member of the Greenville Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. where she serves on multiple committees and is a member of the Executive Board. She was named Best & Brightest Under 35, Top 10 Young Professional of the Year by the Talented 10th Greenville, South Carolina’s Top 20 Under 40 by Thomas Media Group and named a Women of Influence honoree in 2021 by GSA Business Report. Most recently, she was named a 2023 SC Women in Business Honoree by Integrated Media Publishing, which includes Greenville Business Magazine, Charleston Business, and Columbia Business Monthly publications. Mrs. Alston is a Leadership Greenville and St. Francis Forum graduate.
Alston holds a B.S. with Honors in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and holds a Masters from Clemson University.

Dawn Cook
Corporate Controller
With over 28 years of accounting and over 17 years in human resources, Dawn Cook is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk. Joining the US&S team in 2019, she provides ongoing assessments and consultation to management, regarding fiscal matters, benefit program execution, regulatory compliance and risk management. Cook is a Master of Business Administration graduate of Clemson University. Her career serving private business and commitment to community engagement has given her robust experience.
Stacey Bechtold
Director of Human Resources & Ethics Officer
With more than 20 years of leadership and human resources experience, Stacey Bechtold is responsible for all corporate human resources functions, including, but not limited to, employment law and regulatory compliance, organizational planning and policy development and implementation, training and employee relations, recruitment and retention efforts, benefits administration, employee relations, compensation, management development and leadership coaching. Prior to joining our team, Stacey served as the HR Manager for Greenville County Parks, Recreation, & Tourism for twelve years. She has also previously provided HR-related consulting and training services to a variety of clients through The Bechtold Group, Inc., as well as taught Human Resource Management at Greenville Technical College as an adjunct instructor. Stacey holds two national senior-level HR certifications (SPHR and SHRM-SCP) as well as a Master of Human Resource Development from Clemson University. She became a Riley Fellow in 2018 with successful completion of Furman University's distinguished Diversity Leaders Initiative and has also recently earned her Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) designation with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.
Darien Alston
Assistant Director of Operations, O&M Services
Darien supports the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of the company's Operations & Maintenance business unit. He oversees the company’s DOE/DOE prime contractor contract/project portfolio bringing extensive knowledge and experience to US&S from his distinguished background within the field of facilities management and operations. He most recently served as a Division leader, Superintendent, with Richland County Recreation Commission and, prior to that, was Division Development Manager for Greenville County Parks, Recreation, Tourism. In these professional capacities, Darien was responsible for building operations and maintenance, janitorial services, grounds & fleet maintenance, staff supervision & management, as well as the management of multiple budgets. He has significant experience planning and directing numerous, concurrent multi-faceted capital projects including facility construction management – both new construction and large-scale renovations. He is a proud graduate of Coastal Carolina University and of notable programs such as Leadership Greenville, Leadership GCRD, Opportunity Greenville and SCRPA’s LEAD initiative.
Ryan Henderson
Assistant Director of Operations, Janitorial Services
Ryan Henderson is responsible for implementing and managing the company’s janitorial contract operations. He leads the janitorial training program and is a critical part of our CIMS program execution. He has nearly 20 years of dedicated and skilled service management, training, and leadership experience in the janitorial field. Prior to joining US&S, Ryan worked 12 years in several positions including Regional Training Manager, Supervisor of Environmental Services and District Manager with other facility service companies.
His firsthand experience lends instant credibility to front-line personnel as he develops and directs training programs to the highest standards of performance for facilities. Ryan's expertise in environmental services, professional cleaning, managing accounts and leading people has been critical to our continued success in the janitorial market. He is especially skilled in optimizing operational processes and developing people to achieve maximum results for the company as well as our clients.
